Writing a doctoral dissertation is challenging enough. Adding multiple guidelines and formatting requirements can quickly make such a daunting task maddening. Fortunately for Columbia students there is a Latex template that is meant to reduce the pains of adhering to all those rules. Charles McNamara wrote a template and is making it available for anyone who wants to use it. You can find his blog post about it here and its GitHub page here.
